Princess Cruises (Carnival Corporation's second-largest subsidiary company) revised its final payment and cancellation policies for voyages departing up to and including October 15, 2020.

The updated "Cruise with Confidence" policy now offers “more flexibility and peace of mind” to clients during the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. The update comes a week after the company extended the fleetwide cruise shipping suspension through June 30.

Passengers booked on July 2020 cruises can cancel up to 48 hours prior departure. Itineraries scheduled to depart between August 1-October 15 (2020) can be cancelled up to 30 days prior departure. All cancelled bookings will receive full refunds plus FCC (future cruise credit) to the value of cancellation fees.

Final balance payment dates were reduced from 90 days to 60 days before sailing for all voyages departing up to October 15, 2020.

Guests who have booked flights through Princess Cruises (Princess Plane Sailing program) will have non-refundable flight cancellation fees added to the future cruise credit. The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method. They'll also receive a full refund of pre-paid items like drinks packages, shore trips, and Wi-Fi.

The updated policies apply to all existing and new bookings.
