CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has unveiled its 2027 deployment for Alaska, anchoring 3 ships—Carnival Spirit, Carnival Legend, and Carnival Luminosa—in Seattle WA and San Francisco CA. These vessels collectively will offer 50+ sailings during the summer, as well as distinctive repositioning voyages in spring and fall.

The 2800-passenger Carnival Luminosa will sail across the Pacific from Sydney on April 6th, on a 23‑day repositioning voyage. Ports of call include Suva (Fiji), Moorea and Papeete in French Polynesia, and Honolulu before the ship arrives in San Francisco.

Beginning May 3rd, the ship will embark on a series of 10‑day Alaska itineraries calling at Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Prince Rupert. In addition, while home‑porting in San Francisco, Carnival Luminosa will offer several 4‑day Baja Mexico cruises to Ensenada, designed for weekend getaways.

The 2700-passenger Carnival Legend will reposition from Tampa to Seattle on April 4th via a 16‑day Panama Canal cruise featuring stops in Cartagena, Santa Marta in Colombia, Acapulco (CCL's first such visit since 2010), Cabo San Lucas, and a full transit of the canal.

Once homeported in Seattle, Legend will offer 22 week‑long Alaska voyages beginning April 20th, visiting key ports including Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Victoria (British Columbia). Later in the season, the ship will operate a 16‑day “Hawaii Journeys” cruise departing September 21st, calling at four Hawaiian islands as well as Victoria.

Carnival Spirit will launch its season with consecutive Carnival Journeys cruises: a 9‑night Western Caribbean itinerary departing from Mobile on March 20th, calling at Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Montego Bay, and Isla Tropicale/Roatan; followed by a 16‑night Panama Canal voyage beginning March 29th, calling in Cartagena, Cabo San Lucas, and Puntarenas in Costa Rica.

On April 14th, Spirit will embark on a 15‑night Hawaiian cruise from Seattle, visiting all 4 major islands and concluding in Victoria BC. Starting April 29th, the ship will operate 20 week‑long Alaskan sailings to Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, Tracy Arm Fjord, and Victoria—with an additional 9‑day voyage that includes Sitka.

Christine Duffy (CCL's President) stressed that the 3‑ship deployment offers an ideal combination of Alaska’s spectacular natural scenery and Carnival’s signature onboard atmosphere, a formula she said keeps these itineraries in high demand well in advance.

This comprehensive schedule confirms Carnival’s commitment to robust programming in Alaska, spanning classic seven‑night voyages, extended repositioning itineraries, and short getaways from the West Coast USA.
