Celebrity Cruises suspends sailings through September 15

In accordance with the CLIA cruise lines which voluntarily suspended cruises from US ports through September 15, the RCCL-owned premium brand Celebrity Cruises announced it will also extend its global cruise suspension (all voyages) through September 15, 2020.

Booked customers receive 125% FCC (future cruise credits) valid through December 31, 2021 “for use on sailings through May 4, 2022,” the company said. The value of FCCs will be based on amounts paid toward the sailing and processed by July 31, 2020, through email, Celebrity said.

Agents whose customers would prefer 100% refunds rather than FCC can contact Celebrity at any time through December 31, 2020.

Clients have the option to reschedule their voyages to the same destination for the next year within 4 weeks of the originally scheduled departure.

Guests who pre-booked Celebrity Cruises shore excursions, beverage, specialty dining, Internet, or other onboard packages can opt to receive 125% onboard credits or 100% refunds.

Clients with refundable flights and hotels booked via Flights by Celebrity are automatically refunded.
