MSC Cruises opens bookings for its 2023 World Cruise aboard MSC Poesia

MSC Cruises opened sales for the MSC World Cruise 2023 boasting 53 destinations in a total of 33 countries across 6 continents with a focus on Asian aspirational locations.

The 119-day cruise onboard MSC Poesia will commence on January 5, 2023, from Genoa (Milan), Italy, and the liner will undertake a 30,000+ nautical mile journey that will cross 24 separate time zones with embarkation ports also including Rome (Civitavecchia) Italy, Marseille France, and Barcelona Spain.

Crossing the Atlantic from Europe, MSC Poesia is scheduled to visit the tropical islands of the Caribbean and sail through the Panama Canal. Next on the cruise of a lifetime is the west coast of Central America with visits to Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico before heading to San Francisco CA.

The Pacific leg features calls to Maui, Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, Auckland NZ, Sydney, the Australian Gold Coast, Cairns, and the Great Barrier Reef, PNG-Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines. The cruise ship is then due to arrive in Japan during the cherry blossom season with visits to Kyoto (Kobe) and Tokyo.

Passengers can further discover Asia with visits to Shanghai, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia. Crossing the Indian Ocean to the Gulf region of the Middle East, MSC Cruises' Poesia is then due to head home to the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal.
