American Cruise Lines introduces interior concepts of its new modern riverboats

   November 20, 2020 ,   Cruise Industry

ACL-American Cruise Lines unveiled 10+ images showcasing the interior spaces of the company's new class of modern riverboats. The release marked the biggest change in ACL interior design history remaining true to its sophisticated style.

ACL partnered with Studio DADO in order to design the interiors of the new ships, including the 175-guest American Melody. ACL also introduced a new Virtual Tour of the riverboats, available on its website.

Studio DADO, a boutique company based in Miami FL, has recently designed interiors for some of the most popular names in the cruise industry. However, this is the firm's foray into the domestic river cruise market. The work on the newbuilds integrates a stylish and refined aesthetic with ACL’s tradition for spacious comfort found aboard its ships.

Both ACL and Studio DADO are among the fastest-growing in their respective fields. American Melody will be the first to showcase the new design but the 13th new ship in ACL’s expanding fleet, and the second newbuild riverboat debuting on Mississippi River in 2021 (following American Jazz).
