Swan Hellenic Cruises announced valid COVID vaccinations as a "pre-embarkation medical requirement" for all staff and crew. The company officially starts operations this year with a fleet of three newbuild expedition ships - SH Minerva (2021), SH Vega (2022) and SH TBN (2023).

The crew vaccination will be carried out at recruitment centers or in their home countries, in accordance with approved medical protocols and current local guidelines.

The decisive action to protect staff and passengers on the new ice-class ships of the cultural expedition cruise pioneer completes an industry-leading package of measures to ensure a safe onboard environment.

Swan Hellenic's fleet of 3 new ships is being built with the latest hygiene technology as well as to the highest standards in consultation with world-leading healthcare experts Vikand Solutions (Fort Lauderdale USA-based company). The onboard air conditioning plants are UV sanitized using the most advanced technology.

All Swan Hellenic shipboard staff and crew are trained and monitored in implementing all the practices and procedures specified by cruise industry standards and required by the authorities at the time of sailing, including regular pre-boarding and onboard tests, as well as rigorous sanitizing of the public areas, technical areas, staterooms, staff and crew quarters.

For further peace of mind, Swan Hellenic passengers can book with confidence, knowing they are protected by a no-quibble cancellation policy allowing cancellation up to 30 days prior to departure, providing an FCC (Future Cruise Credit) valid for two years.

Swan Hellenic CEO Andrea Zito said they were totally committed to the health and peace of mind of their guests and crews, "ensuring they can relax and focus entirely on the life-enriching opportunities we offer to see what others don’t.”
