Uniworld announces the world's longest (46-night) river cruise on 7 rivers and 2 continents

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises unveiled the ultimate mega trip for anyone who wishes to see the world: a total of 46 days, 9 countries, 5 ships, 2 continents.

The Rivers of the World Cruise is scheduled to start in Egypt and end in Portugal, giving guests glimpses of Europe and Africa over the course of ~7 weeks with both land and river experiences.

The 46-night voyage departs on May 20, 2023. Fares start from EUR 31875 (USD 39000 / GBP 27485) per person for a French Balcony stateroom with double occupancy.

Guests are responsible for arranging their own transport to Cairo for the start of the journey, and from Lisbon at the conclusion on July 5, 2023.

The adventure starts with a hotel stay in Cairo, Egypt, and an opening event before travelers set off for 11 days on the Nile aboard SS Sphinx. They will be joined by an Egyptologist and explore ancient wonders, including the Abu Simbel temples.

Guests will then fly to the Swiss Alps and stay in Lugano, on the border of Switzerland and Italy. A land tour of Milano is offered before setting sail on Venice Lagoon and Po River for an 11-day sailing through Northern Italy on SS La Venezia.

The 3rd part takes vacationers through Germany, Austria, Hungary as they sail through the former Holy Roman Empire aboard SS Maria Theresa. Among the activities is a private tour of Vienna’s Schonbrunn Palace.

The 4th part takes cruisers to France and the Seine River aboard SS Joie de Vivre for 7 days. It features a number of towns in Northern France, as well as the beaches of Normandy, and then ends in Paris, France to see a show at the Moulin Rouge.

The voyage concludes in Spain and Portugal with river experiences in the Douro Valley during 11 days aboard SS Sao Gabriel. The cruise itinerary features calls in Cascais/Sintra prior to finishing with a Lisbon land tour and a closing event.
