SS Maria Theresa cruise ship is the newest "Super Ship" in Uniworld's fleet, launching in 2015. Sister ship to S.S. Catherine and SS Antoinette, two of the most luxurious riverboats on the waterways of Europe, Maria Theresa ship will take her guests to Europe's remarkable destinations in perfect style.

Cabins

SS Maria Theresa has a total of 74 cabins (of which 11 Suites) in 7 grades. The lavishly appointed Riverview suites and staterooms with French balconies are situated on Main and Upper decks. Each stateroom has handcrafted Savoir of England beds, a hairdryer, individual thermostat, built-in closet, safe, flatscreen TV and infotainment center. The marble bathrooms boast L'Occitane en Provence products, cosy bathrobes, slippers, plush towels and towel warmer. Maria Theresa suites have additional amenities, including butler services, pillow menu and complimentary in-suite treatment.

Shipboard facilities

SS Maria Theresa offers a Main lounge (Habsburg Salon) and full-service Bar du Leopard, Baroque Restaurant (Main dining room), Viennese Cafe, Bohemian Terrace and Durer Sun Deck with shuffleboard and chess, heated swimming pool, Serenity River Spa, well-equipped fitness center, boutique, 24-hour specialty coffee bar, free Wi-Fi access, and even a Lipizzan Cinema. Additional amenities include laundry, elevator, free Internet and Wi-Fi, 24h specialty coffee and tea bar.

SS Maria Theresa is the newest super ship owned by this major European river cruise line. The royal christening of the ship took place in Amsterdam, with Princess Anita von Hohenberg (descendant of the Austrian queen Maria Theresa) acting as the boat's godmother.

Maria Theresa ship's staterooms have both open-air and French balconies on decks Upper and Main. All cabins have handcrafted UK-made beds and top-luxury bedding. Additional amenities include complimentary use of Nordic walking sticks and bicycles on all Uniworld Cruises’ shore excursions. The boat's most distinctive feature is the glassed-in swimming pool.

The riverboat's godmother is Princess Anna (Anita) von Hohenberg - from the royal family of Maria Theresa Walburga Amalia Christina (1717-1780, queen of Austria between 1840-1880).
