Trafalgar Reverie

The 2001-built (as River Princess) cruise ship Trafalgar Reverie is owned by Uniworld (officially "Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection"), which is an asset of The Travel Corporation (TravCorp). Since 2026, the riverboat has been chartered to the sister brand Trafalgar.

The Trafalgar Reverie ship cruises on the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers departing from Amsterdam, Vienna, Budapest and Istanbul.

The vessel (ENI number 02325078) is currently Switzerland-flagged (MMSI 269057423) and registered in Basel.

Trafalgar's fleet currently includes only two (full-ship chartered from Uniworld) vessels - Reverie (River Princess) and Verity (River Queen). Trafalgar plans to add a third riverboat (TBN) in 2027. As part of its longer-term strategy, Trafalgar plans to introduce a new class of ships (beginning in 2028), which would be Trafalgar-owned (not chartered).

With the same design features and amenities are the Uniworld ships Ambassador (1993, now THE A), Baroness (1994, now THE B), Countess (2003, now SS La Venezia), Duchess (2003), Empress (2001), Queen (1999, now Trafalgar Reverie), Royale (2006, now SS Bon Voyage).

MS Trafalgar Reverie is a boutique hotel-style riverboat, built to carry her guests in style through Europe. With lavish staterooms, fine dining and extra amenities, this beautiful ship is perfect for exploring the Danube, Rhine and Main rivers. Enjoy the panoramic main lounge, vast sun deck with shuffleboard and chess, sauna and fitness room.

In December 2025 was announced that Trafalgar Reverie's godmother would be Kate McIntosh. The ship is scheduled to debut for Trafalgar on April 11, 2026, with the "Best of the Danube" itinerary.

Decks and cabins

Trafalgar Reverie has a total of 66 cabins (in 6 grades), including 4x Suites (20 m2/215 ft2), 18x French Balcony (14 m2/150 ft2), 34x Deluxe (14 m2/one Large Window) and 10x Classic cabins (14 m2/two Upper Windows).

All suites and standard staterooms have handcrafted UK-made Savoir beds and top-luxury bedding sets.

All Rhine Deck cabins have French balconies.

The boat has 4 decks, of which 3 have cabins.

Shipboard facilities and amenities

Trafalgar Reverie has unique amenities not available on other river ships. The boat is even equipped with an elevator and guests can receive complimentary Nordic walking sticks and bicycles at each destination.

The ship has a stylish Restaurant (Main dining room) to enjoy delicious food and impeccable service. The boat is spacious.

Onboard venues include a full-service bar to enjoy a cocktail in the evenings, Main Lounge (featuring a dance floor and full-service Bar), Captain's Lounge & Library (full-service bar), Patio Lounge, Sky Lounge, Sun Deck (chessboard, shuffleboard), Serenity Spa, Fitness Center, Sauna Room, 24-hour specialty tea and coffee bar, laundry and ironing facilities, 24-hour Reception/guest services, free Internet and Wi-Fi access.

Trafalgar cruise deals

Trafalgar River Cruises' fares cover the stateroom (a riverview cabin), all shipboard meals (buffet-style breakfast and lunch, and a la carte dinner), beverages (drinks with lunch and dinner, including wine by the glass, local beers, soft drinks/non-alcoholic, tea/coffee, water), complimentary access to shipboard facilities and amenities (bars/lounges/social spaces, sun deck, wellness/gym/fitness centre), current itinerary-based guided shore excursions/land tours and curated experiences). The cruise price also includes signature experiences branded as "BE MY GUEST" (dinners at local wineries or family-run farms) and "MAKE TRAVEL MATTER" (community- or sustainability-themed local visits).

For the land portion of the voyage, passengers are complimentary provided with audio headsets (for guided tours), bicycles (during local visits/excursions) and staff support (Experience Director, Experience Manager, ship crew).

Ship crew gratuities are included, tipping for Experience Director/Manager is not mandatory (discretionary).
