A couple of Tauck’s top executives, each with 20+ years in the company, are expected to serve as co-godmothers when the line’s new MS Andorinha riverboat is officially christened in August in the village of Barca d'Alva, Portugal.

Company President Jennifer Tombaugh together with Chief Culture Officer Sharyn Cannon will share the honour when the new ship, specifically designed for cruising along Portugal’s Douro River, enters Tauck’s fleet during the first week of next month.

The shipowner Scylla Cruises charters MS Andorinha to the US cruise travel company Tauck Tours.
