CCL-Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Breeze returned to service on Thursday, July 15, when she departed on a 4-day cruise from Galveston Texas, part of her popular schedule of short cruises from the port.

The ship is Carnival’s 3rd to resume service, following Carnival Vista (from Galveston TX) and Carnival Horizon (from PortMiami Florida) in early July.

Thursday’s sailing will call at Cozumel (Quintana Roo Mexico, Riviera Maya) while 5-day voyages departing on Mondays & Saturdays visit Cozumel and Costa Maya / Progreso (Yucatan Mexico).

Later this month, Carnival Miracle starts sailing Alaska voyages while Carnival’s newest and most innovative liner, Mardi Gras, sets sail from Port Canaveral (Orlando, Florida).

Currently, Carnival is the number one cruise ship operator from Galveston TX as well as the only cruise operator with 3 year-round liners at the port. Breeze, Dream, and Vista operate 150 cruises per year from Galveston, carrying ~750,000 passengers per year.
