Princess Cruises' ship Majestic Princess successfully completes first voyage after restart

Princess Cruises' Majestic Princess ship successfully returned to Seattle Washington on August 1, concluding the Alaskan voyage and marking the first successful ex-USA cruise for the company following the extended pause in operations.

Majestic Princess became fleet's first boat to return to service, kicking off the partial Alaska season which is due to end on September 26, 2021. The 7-day Seattle roundtrip visited Glacier Bay NP, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan.

Onboard, guests enjoy authentic Alaska-themed activities offered via the “North to Alaska” program that brings together Alaska seafood, local personalities, and culture to immerse passengers in the traditions and history of The Last Frontier.

Movies Under the Stars, production shows, Discovery@SEA programs, and signature specialty dining are also available.

In fall 2021, Princess Cruises will commence sailing from Los Angeles (Long Beach, California), San Francisco CA, and Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades, Florida). Between September 25-November 28, 8 Princess MedallionClass ships will take guests to the California Coast, the Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexico and Hawaii.

Princess Cruises in 2021 serves passengers who have received their final dose of an approved COVID vaccine at least 14 days prior to departure and have proof of vaccination.
