Swan Hellenic’s newbuild SH Minerva sets sail for New Year maiden voyage from Ushuaia (Argentina)

On Friday, December 31, 2021, Swan Hellenic Cruises announced that its newbuild SH Minerva had left Ushuaia (Argentina) Thursday evening on her maiden cultural expedition voyage of the Antarctic, a 9-day "New Year celebration of discovery."

In Antarctica, SH Minerva guests can explore Antarctic Peninsula's wildlife and milder Shetland Islands (UK) in the company of polar expert Steve Blamires, renowned ornithologist Andy Bunten, and Expedition Leader Pablo Brandeman.

Acclaimed chef Jörg Lehmann brought Swan Hellenic’s new gastronomic vision to life onboard, presenting a variety of menus of freshly cooked delicacies including original Italian and Asian fusion dishes, created via a partnership with award-winning Consultant Chefs Andrea Ribaldone & Sang Keun Oh.
