Italian company Somec has won a new order for Azamara Onward ship's drydock refurbishment.

Budgeted EUR 14+ million, this is the most valuable project to date won by the Cantu-based onboard interior specialist.

The former Princess Cruises' boat "Pacific Princess" is now part of the Azamara fleet.

Smaller vessels like Azamara Onward, which is 180 m in length, are gaining consideration in the cruise industry and positioned by the operator as a floating boutique hotel, boasting premium amenities and luxury suites, capable of navigating unique waterways and docking in smaller cruise ports and destinations, denied to bigger liners.
