On August 30, 2017, the ship ran aground off Ios Island (Cyclades, Greece). The vessel was entering the ferry port with 205 passengers, 44 crew and 33 vehicles when it grounded offshore.
The ship sustained hull damage and water ingress, but its pumps managed to control flooding. No injuries were reported and all passengers were transferred ashore safe.
