On December 13, 2025, the ship reported a medical emergency shortly after leaving Kiel (Germany) en route to Oslo (Norway).

A 30-year-old female crew member sustained serious injuries while the vessel was navigating within the Kiel Fjord (Kieler Forde).

The request for the medevac was made via Hovedredningssentralen/Norwegian Search and Rescue Agency's Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Stavanger, and then it was relayed to MRCC Bremen (Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre in Bremen). DGzRS (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbruchiger, a non-profit, private sea rescue organization) deployed the SAR/rescue vessel HANS HACKMACK (MMSI 211235200) stationed in Laboe (Plon district, Schleswig-Holstein).

Approximately 600 m/~2000 ft off Laboe, the rescue boat manoeuvred alongside Color Fantasy, and the injured woman was offloaded and transported to Laboe. From Laboe, she was flown by a rescue helicopter to a specialised hospital for continued treatment, reflecting the severe nature of her injuries.
