13 November 2018Propulsion / Power Loss

On November 13, 2018, while navigating in Archipelago Sea (Turku Islands), at ~11:30 pm the ship sustained a technical failure resulting in limited onboard power distribution. The accident occurred en-route from Naantali (Finland) to Kapellskar (Sweden), via Langnas (Finland). The ferry was carrying 136 passengers plus 34 crew.

Finnish Border Guard deployed one patrol boat (Tursas) to ensure the ship's safety. By its own power, the cruise ferry returned back to homeport Naantali, arriving on November 14) and berthing at 5:30 am with the assistance of two tugboats. In Naantali the failed unit was repaired. Following permission from port authorities, the ship returned to its scheduled service in the evening.

04 March 2010Ship Collision / Allision

On March 4, 2010, due to difficult ice conditions in Aland Sea (Baltic Sea), the ship collided with Viking Amorella ferry near Tjarven Island.

29 August 2009Fire Accident

On August 29, 2009, the ship suffered a storage room fire accident while navigating south of Åland (en-route from Naantali Finland to Kapellskar Sweden). All passengers were evacuated to the Heli Deck, while the crew managed to extinguish the fire. No one was injured.
