American Star cabins review

Follows the review of American Star ship cabins, including amenities, furnishings, and complimentary services:

All staterooms feature hotel-style beds (king or two twins, 200 x 160 cm), under-bed storage for suitcases, bedside tables, a closet, and a dresser with drawers. Additional in-room features include individual climate control and a medical emergency button.

Each cabin offers a private, full-size bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and Judith Jackson premium bath amenities (shampoo, body wash, conditioner, moisturizer, mouthwash, facial bar, bath soaps, and vanity kit). Other amenities include a smart HDTV (with local/satellite channels), DVD player, phone (for onboard communication only), coffee maker, digital clock/alarm, seating area (small table with one or two swivel chairs), and a mirrored vanity/writing desk.

Window cabins feature slide-opening picture windows, while balcony cabins have slide-opening glass doors leading to private verandas. Each balcony is furnished with a small table and two chairs.

Complimentary services include shipwide Wi-Fi Internet access, several Internet computers located throughout the vessel, beer and wine served with lunch and dinner, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages (soda, water, juices, coffee, tea), snacks, and room service. American Cruise Lines' American Star cruise fares do not include gratuities, shore excursions/tours, or port fees.

The ship offers one wheelchair-accessible stateroom (category AAL, midship on Deck 2-Lounge), conveniently located near the elevator for guests with disabilities.

There are also two single-occupancy cabins designed for solo travelers, available without a single supplement.
