MS Finnmarken cabins and suites

The following is a review of MS Finnmarken’s (formerly Otto Sverdrup) staterooms, including amenities, furniture, and complimentary services:

• “MG” Grand Suites – Feature a private balcony and two rooms (with a separate bedroom), a separate seating area with TV, stereo, and mini-bar/fridge. Some suites also include a private hot tub.
• “M2” Suites – Include a private balcony and one or two rooms (with a separate bedroom), plus a separate sitting area with TV and mini-bar/fridge.
• “QJ2” and “Q” Mini Suites – Have one view window, a seating area with TV, mini-bar/fridge, small table, and bedside tables (no dressers).
• “U2,” “P2,” “N2,” “H2,” “J2” Outside Cabins – Each has one view window, one sofa bed and one single bed, plus a vanity table.
• “L2” Obstructed View Cabins – Located on the ship’s lower decks, each features two porthole windows, one sofa bed and one single bed, plus a vanity table.
• “I2” Inside Cabins – Equipped with single and sofa beds; some have upper/lower berths accommodating up to four guests.

Each of MS Finnmarken’s cabins includes a private en-suite bathroom (with WC/shower, washbasin, hairdryer, and heated floor), ample wardrobe space, drawers, electronic safe, and lifejackets (in the closet). Additional features include a direct-dial phone (intercom), digital radio/alarm clock, smart HDTV, and 220V power outlets. All staterooms are air-conditioned.

Room service is available for breakfast only (7:30–10:00 a.m.) at an additional charge.

Mini-bars in all Suites are complimentary and stocked with bottled water, soft drinks, alcohol, candy bars, and snacks.
