Mitsui Ocean Fuji cabins review

Seabourn Odyssey has a total of 226 cabins. Like all Seabourn cruise ships, Odyssey is an all-suite vessel. There are 16 suite categories (including the VG–Veranda Guarantee). Of all suites, 88% feature private balconies, and 100% offer ocean views. There are seven wheelchair-accessible suites for disabled passengers (located on all cabin decks) and 37 connecting suites that can be converted into double suites.

Below is an overview of Seabourn Odyssey’s staterooms (suites) in terms of furniture, amenities, and complimentary services:

  • Each Seabourn Odyssey suite includes a spacious living area, walk-in closet, bathroom (with separate bathtub and shower), plush robes, towels, slippers, luxury bath products, one queen bed (most convertible to two twins), luxury bedding (Egyptian cotton linens, duvet, pillow menu), two-seat dining table, writing desk, mirrored vanity, media center (interactive flat-screen TV with satellite reception, DVD/CD player), fully stocked bar, safe, stationery, umbrella, world atlas, complimentary 24-hour room service (including in-suite dining from any restaurant menu), and welcome gifts (Champagne, flowers, fruit).
  • All balcony suites additionally feature a mini-fridge, full-length window, and a sliding door opening onto a private teak veranda with lounge furniture and glass railings.
  • PH–Penthouse Suites feature a two- to four-seat dining table, two TVs, and a large vanity area.
  • OW–Owner’s Suites add a guest bathroom, whirlpool tub, pantry (with wet bar), convertible sofa bed, and complimentary Internet and Wi-Fi.
  • Wintergarden Suites feature a bowed balcony, larger windows, six-seat dining table, solarium (with whirlpool and daybed), two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with whirlpool tub), guest bathroom (shower), convertible sofa, two bars, pantry (wet bar), three closets, three TVs, and complimentary Internet/Wi-Fi.
  • Signature Suites feature a wraparound balcony and wall-to-wall windows.
  • Seabourn Suites (Window Suites) have a large picture window instead of a balcony.
  • All accommodations are equipped with an interactive TV system (flat-screen TV with keyboard remote). The system integrates with a mini Mac computer for Internet access, excursion booking, restaurant reservations, service requests, account review, and browsing food and beverage menus. Entertainment includes on-demand movies, and channels for sports, music, news, Seabourn information, and live bridge cameras.

Through the “Seabourn Club” loyalty program, Silver Level and above members receive complimentary Internet (limited or unlimited packages), free phone minutes (20–40 per voyage), complimentary spa massage, day passes for the Spa Serene Area, free laundry service (one bag per seven days onboard), discounts on premium wines and spirits, future cruise booking savings, luggage shipping discounts, and access to exclusive offers and onboard events.

Seabourn shipboard smoking policy

According to Seabourn’s smoking policy (implemented in 2017), smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, including cabins and private balconies.

  • Smoking is also banned in the Observation Lounge (previously permitted after 8 p.m.). It is allowed only in the open-air starboard area of the Sky Bar (Deck 9, midship) and the starboard pool terrace of The Club Lounge (Deck 5, aft).
  • Smoking of cigarettes, cigars, and pipes is permitted on the open-air aft terrace of Seabourn Square Lounge (Deck 7).
  • Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) may be used inside cabins.

Passengers who violate the ship’s smoking policy are subject to a cleaning fee of USD 250 per day.
