AIDAmar deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by AIDA Cruises deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the AIDAmar cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on AIDAmar staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
ms AIDAmar (2012-built, last refurbished in 2019) is the sixth of seven Sphinx-class AIDA cruise ships, along with her sister ships AIDAblu, AIDAsol, and AIDAstella, as well as the one-deck smaller vessels AIDAbella, AIDAdiva, and AIDAluna. The shipowner is Costa Cruises (a Carnival Corporation-owned company), and the ship is operated by the German company AIDA Cruises.
The AIDAmar cruise ship deck plan includes a total of 1,096 cabins for 2,192 passengers (maximum occupancy 2,500), served by 610 crew members. The vessel has 14 decks (12 accessible to passengers, 7 with cabins), 6 restaurants, 10 bars and lounges, 2 swimming pools, 4 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), and 10 elevators.
Main deck areas include:
- Dining facilities (43,000 ft² / 3,988 m²)
- Wellness area (21,000 ft² / 1,956 m²) – one of the largest at sea
- Outside deck spaces (87,000 ft² / 8,120 m²)
- Theatrium/Theater (32,000 ft² / 3,000 m²)
Complimentary dining options (included in AIDAmar cruise prices) are Markt, California Grill, East, and Bella Donna. Specialty venues available at an additional charge include Rossini, Buffalo, Sushi Bar, and the Brauhaus. In AIDAmar’s three buffet restaurants (Markt, East, and Bella Donna), soft drinks, beer, and house wines are complimentary during lunch and dinner times.
In addition to the ship’s staff and crew, AIDA cruise passengers are also assisted by Pepper robots—advanced humanoid robots introduced fleetwide in 2016. These robots greet and guide guests during embarkation and continue to assist throughout the voyage by providing information and tips on dining, entertainment, enrichment programs (workshops, scheduled events), casino and shopping deals, and shore excursions. Pepper robots are mobile and communicate in three languages (English, German, and Italian). They can also interpret human emotions by analyzing voice tones and facial expressions.
