Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities
AIDAsol deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by AIDA Cruises deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the AIDAsol cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on AIDAsol staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
MS AIDAsol (2011-built, last refurbished in October 2023) is the fifth of seven Sphinx-class AIDA cruise ships. Her sisterships include AIDAblu, AIDAmar, and AIDAstella, as well as the slightly smaller, 1-deck-lower vessels AIDAbella, AIDAdiva, and AIDAluna. The shipowner is Costa Cruises (a Carnival Corporation brand), and the operator is the German company AIDA Cruises.
The AIDAsol cruise ship deck plan includes a total of 1,097 cabins for 2,194 passengers (maximum occupancy 2,686), served by 610 crew members. The vessel has 14 decks (12 accessible to passengers, 7 with cabins), 6 restaurants, 10 bars and lounges, 2 swimming pools, 4 outdoor Jacuzzis (whirlpool hot tubs), and 10 elevators.
Main deck areas include:
- Dining facilities (43,000 ft² / 3,988 m²)
- Wellness area (21,000 ft² / 1,956 m²) – one of the largest at sea
- Outdoor deck space (87,000 ft² / 8,120 m²)
- Theatrium/Theater (32,000 ft² / 3,000 m²)
Complimentary dining venues (included in AIDAsol’s cruise fare) are Markt Restaurant, California Grill, East Restaurant, and Bella Donna. Specialty restaurants available at an additional charge include Rossini, Buffalo Steakhouse, Sushi Bar, and Brauhaus. In the ship’s three buffet-style restaurants (Markt, East, Bella Donna), soft drinks, beer, and house wines are complimentary during lunch and dinner hours.
In addition to the crew, AIDA cruise guests are also assisted by Pepper robots—a cyborg technology implemented fleetwide in 2016. These humanoid robots greet and guide passengers during embarkation and assist throughout the voyage by offering information and tips on dining, entertainment, enrichment programs (workshops and scheduled events), casino and shopping deals, and shore excursions. Pepper robots are mobile and fluent in English, German, and Italian. They can also recognize human emotions by analyzing voice tone and facial expressions.
