A-Rosa Bella (built in 2002, not yet refurbished) is the line’s first purpose-built vessel and one of four identical-class A-ROSA cruise ships, alongside Donna, Mia, and Riva. These luxury riverboats, featuring innovative design and upscale amenities, enabled the German cruise line “A-ROSA Flussschiff” to establish a strong presence in the all-inclusive European river cruise market. Today, A-ROSA successfully competes with prominent European operators such as AmaWaterways, Avalon, and Viking.
The MS A-Rosa Bella cruise ship has a total of 100 staterooms accommodating 245 passengers, served by a crew of 50. The vessel features 4 passenger decks, 1 swimming pool, 2 lounges, 2 bars, and 1 restaurant. There is no elevator or onboard medical facility/doctor.
A unique highlight of the A-Rosa Bella is the inclusion of a spa, sauna, and outdoor pool—amenities rarely found on river cruise ships. The vessel is popular for its all-inclusive luxury cruise packages and vacation experience, which combine comfort, wellness facilities, gourmet dining with fine wines, guided bicycle tours, and an appeal to a younger demographic.
