A-Rosa Riva (built in 2004, not yet refurbished) is the fourth and final vessel in the line’s series of identical-class ARosa cruise ships, alongside her sisterships Bella, Donna, and Riva. This ship class enabled the German river cruise line “A-ROSA Flussschiff” to enter Europe’s competitive all-inclusive river cruise market, offering an alternative to operators like AmaWaterways, Avalon, and Viking.
The MS A-Rosa Riva deck plan includes a total of 100 staterooms, accommodating up to 245 passengers and served by 50 crew members. The vessel has four passenger decks, one swimming pool, two lounges, two bars, and one restaurant. There is no elevator and no onboard medical facility or doctor.
ARosa Riva stands out for offering facilities rarely found on river cruise ships, such as a Spa, Sauna, and an outdoor pool, enhancing the experience along her itinerary. The ship is particularly popular for its all-inclusive luxury river cruise packages, which combine comfort, wellness amenities, gourmet cuisine, fine wines, guided bicycle tours, and appeal to a younger clientele.
