Arosa Riva cabins review

Nearly half of the Arosa Riva cabins (48%) feature a French Balcony. Also known as a “Juliet Balcony,” these staterooms are fitted with two floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open inward to a railing. All staterooms on the ship are outside-facing, though there are no Suites available. There are four cabin categories in total, with a maximum occupancy of three guests per cabin.

The most affordable cabins are located on Deck One (Lower Deck) and come with twin bed configurations. "Family cabins" belong to Category A. These triple-occupancy rooms, also located on Deck One, offer a double bed and a third single bed positioned near the window wall.

Below is a review of the ARosa Riva staterooms in terms of furniture, included amenities, and complimentary services:

  • Hotel-style twin beds (convertible to queen, size 200 x 160 cm), luxury bedding, bedside tables with lamps, ample closet and under-bed storage, individual climate control, and 220V/110V power outlets. Outside cabins are equipped with two single beds (separated) and an additional sofa bed. One of the twin beds can be folded up to create a daytime sitting area.
  • All staterooms include a private full bathroom (with WC and glass-door shower), premium bath amenities, bathrobes and slippers, a hairdryer, a small seating area, a writing/vanity desk with an armchair, an HD flat-screen TV (local/satellite channels), a phone (for onboard use), a safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily.
  • Upon embarkation, guests will find a “Welcome Aboard” gift in their cabins, which includes a bottle of champagne, fresh fruit, and a red rose in a vase.
  • The Arosa Riva ship offers an open bar with complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine, sparkling wine, beer, spirits, cocktails) and soft drinks available throughout the day—not just during lunch and dinner.
  • Complimentary Internet and Wi-Fi are available shipwide via a WLAN network.
  • Guests have access to complimentary bicycles for use during shore excursions and land tours, as well as free laundry service.
  • Complimentary guided shore excursions are available, including walking and biking tours led by professional local guides.
  • Category C cabins with French Balconies feature sliding glass doors, also referred to as Juliet or false balconies.
  • Category B Outside staterooms include large, floor-to-ceiling windows (non-opening).
  • Category A Outside rooms are fitted with picture windows (non-opening).
  • Category S Outside rooms feature round-shaped porthole windows (non-opening), located high on the riverside wall.
  • A-Rosa river cruise deals are all-inclusive, covering airfare, land transfers, taxes, and tips/gratuities.
