Arosa Flora cabins review

Most A-Rosa Flora cabins (69%) feature a French Balcony. Also known as a “Juliet Balcony,” these staterooms have two floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open inwards to a railing. The ship has six Suites in two categories—Balkonsuite and Juniorsuite. Both suite types offer a "twin balcony" design, combining a French Balcony with an outdoor step-out veranda for use in all weather conditions. There are seven total cabin categories, each accommodating up to three guests.

The most affordable cabins are located on Deck One (Lower Deck). These feature two twin beds and a third (single) Pullman bed mounted on the wall. While uncommon on river cruises, the Pullman bed is ideal for small families with children.

A-Rosa Flora also offers a special cabin type—G-Familienkabine. Both family cabins are on Deck One and share the same "twin beds plus Pullman" layout but are more spacious.

Below is a review of A-Rosa Flora staterooms, highlighting furnishings, included amenities, and complimentary services:

  • Hotel-style twin beds (convertible to queen, 200 x 160 cm), luxury bedding, bedside tables with lamps, generous closet and under-bed storage, individual climate control, and 220V/110V power outlets. Outside cabins have two separated single beds plus a Pullman bed. One bed can be folded to create a seating area during the day.
  • Suites feature two sets of floor-to-ceiling glass doors—one opens to a French Balcony, the other to a step-out veranda. Suite furnishings include a queen or double bed, sofa, and desk.
  • All staterooms have a full bathroom with a glass-door shower, WC, hairdryer, premium bath products, bathrobes, slippers, a seating area, writing desk/vanity with an armchair, phone (for onboard calls), safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily.
  • HD flat-screen TV with local/satellite channels, plus complimentary internet and Wi-Fi (via shipwide WLAN).
  • The ship offers an open bar throughout the day with complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine, sparkling wine, beer, spirits, cocktails) and soft drinks. All staterooms include a Welcome Aboard gift set: a bottle of champagne, a fruit basket, and a rose in a vase.
  • Complimentary onboard bicycles are available for use during shore excursions and land tours.
  • Complimentary laundry and room service are included.
  • Shore excursions are complimentary, featuring food and wine themes, cultural and historical tours, and guided walking or biking tours led by local professionals.
  • The largest accommodations are the two Category F Suites on Upper Deck 3. Each has a step-out veranda in the lounge area, a sliding floor-to-ceiling window in the bedroom (opening to a French Balcony), a dressing area with two large wardrobes, and a bathroom with double sinks, a separate WC, shower, and bathtub.
  • The four Category E Junior Suites on Deck 3 have a French Balcony in the sleeping area and a non-opening floor-to-ceiling window in the lounge. Their bathrooms include a sink, WC, and separate shower (no bathtub).
  • French Balcony cabins in Categories C and D feature sliding glass doors, also known as Juliet or false balconies.
  • Category A Outside staterooms have two fixed rectangular porthole windows positioned high on the wall. Two of these cabins accommodate three guests, with an extra bed by the window.
  • Category S Outside cabins also offer triple occupancy and are furnished with one double sofa bed plus one single sofa. Each room has one round, fixed porthole window set high on the riverside wall.
  • A-Rosa cruise fares also include air and land transfers, port taxes, gratuities, and the service of professional English-speaking staff.
