Arosa Luna cabins review

Most A-Rosa Luna cabins (65%) feature a French Balcony. Also known as a “Juliet Balcony,” these staterooms have two floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open inwards to a railing. All accommodations on the ship are outside cabins, and there are no Suites available. There are four cabin categories onboard, each with a maximum occupancy of three guests.

The most affordable cabins are located on Deck One (Lower Deck). These come with two twin beds and a third (single) Pullman bed mounted on the wall. While Pullman beds are uncommon in river cruising, they are ideal for small families with children.

Below is a review of A-Rosa Luna staterooms, covering furnishings, included amenities, and complimentary services:

  • Hotel-style twin beds (convertible to a queen, 200 x 160 cm), luxury bedding sets, bedside tables with lamps, generous closet and under-bed storage, individual climate control, and 220V/110V outlets. Riverview cabins feature two separate single beds plus a Pullman bed. One of the two beds can be folded up to create a sitting area.
  • Each stateroom includes a full bathroom with a toilet, glass-door shower, and washbasin, as well as a hairdryer, premium bath amenities, bathrobes and slippers, a small seating area, writing desk/vanity with an armchair, onboard-use phone, safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily.
  • HD flat-screen TV with local/satellite channels, complimentary Internet and Wi-Fi (WLAN network with shipwide coverage).
  • The open bar across A-Rosa Luna offers complimentary alcoholic beverages (including wine, sparkling wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails) and soft drinks throughout the day, not just during meals. All staterooms include a “Welcome Aboard” gift upon embarkation— a bottle of champagne, a basket of fresh fruit, and a red rose in a vase.
  • Complimentary onboard bicycles are available for use during excursions and tours ashore. Laundry and room service are also provided free of charge.
  • Complimentary shore excursions are included, such as themed “food and wine” experiences, cultural and historical tours, and leisure activities (walking or biking tours led by local expert guides).
  • French Balcony cabins in Categories C and D feature sliding glass-door windows, also referred to as Juliet or false balconies.
  • Category A Outside staterooms have two round-shaped, non-opening porthole windows positioned high on the riverside wall.
  • Category S Outside cabins accommodate up to three guests with one double sofa bed and one single sofa. Each has a round-shaped, non-opening porthole window positioned high on the riverside wall.
  • A-Rosa river cruise packages also include airfare, land transfers, taxes, and gratuities.
