Arosa Stella cabins review
Most A-Rosa Stella cabins (65%) feature a French Balcony. Also known as a “Juliet Balcony,” these staterooms have two floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open inwards to a railing. All staterooms on the ship are outside cabins; however, there are no Suites. The ship offers four cabin categories, each accommodating up to three guests.
The most affordable cabins are located on Deck One (Lower Deck). These feature two twin beds, plus a third (single) Pullman bed mounted on the wall. While uncommon in river cruising, the Pullman bed is ideal for small families traveling with children.
Below is a review of A-Rosa Stella staterooms, including furnishings, included amenities, and complimentary services:
- Hotel-style twin beds (convertible to a queen, size 200 x 160 cm) with luxury bedding, bedside tables with lamps, ample closet and under-bed storage, individual climate control, and 220V/110V power outlets. Outside (riverview) cabins include two single beds and a Pullman bed. One of the two beds can be folded up to create a sitting area.
- Each stateroom features a full bathroom (toilet, glass-door shower, washbasin), hairdryer, premium bath amenities, bathrobes and slippers, a small seating area, writing desk/vanity with armchair, phone (for onboard calls only), safe, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily.
- HD flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels, complimentary Internet and Wi-Fi (WLAN, shipwide coverage).
- The open bar aboard A-Rosa Stella offers complimentary alcoholic beverages (wine, including sparkling wine, beer, spirits, cocktails) and soft drinks at all times—not just during lunch and dinner. All staterooms include a “Welcome Aboard” gift package consisting of a bottle of champagne, a fresh fruit basket, and a red rose in a vase.
- Complimentary use of onboard bicycles for shore excursions/tours, as well as free laundry and room service.
- Included shore excursions range from food and wine tastings to cultural, historical, and leisure tours (such as guided walking or biking tours led by local experts).
- French Balcony cabins in categories C and D feature a sliding glass door that opens to a Juliet or false balcony.
- Category A Outside staterooms are equipped with two round-shaped, non-opening porthole windows located high on the riverside wall.
- Category S Outside cabins accommodate triple occupancy with one double sofa bed and one single sofa. Each has one round-shaped, non-opening porthole window, also positioned high on the riverside wall.
- A-Rosa river cruise packages also include airfare, land transfers, taxes, and gratuities.
