MS Goddess of the Night (2004-built as "Costa Magica", fka "Mykonos Magic", last refurbished by Costa in December 2017, most recent drydock in 2024) is the fifth and final DESTINY-class vessel. Her sisterships include Costa Fortuna in the Costa Cruises fleet, and Carnival Destiny-Sunshine, Carnival Triumph-Sunrise, and Carnival Victory-Radiance in the Carnival Cruise Line fleet.

In February 2023, Carnival Corporation announced the sale of Costa Magica to Seajets Ferries, which renamed her "Mykonos Magic".

Goddess of the Night/Costa Magica has 1354 staterooms for 2720 passengers (maximum capacity 3250), served by 1070 crew. The ship features 13 passenger-accessible decks (named after Italian painters, with cabins on 8 decks), 4 restaurants, 11 lounges and bars, 4 swimming pools (one with a retractable glass roof), 6 outdoor whirlpool Jacuzzis, and 12 elevators. She does not have self-service laundromats on board.

The ship also showcased more than 5500 artworks throughout her interiors.

Costa Magica 2017 drydock refurbishment review

The 2017 drydock (November 25 - December 1) took place at Chantier Naval de Marseille shipyard (Marseille, France). Along with general maintenance, the refit introduced major upgrades to public areas and interior spaces.

  • Vicenza Club Restaurant and Bellagio Buffet Restaurant were redesigned with new layouts and upgraded galley/kitchen facilities. Following the renovation, Suite guests and Costa Club Diamond Pearl members gained access to the exclusive Vicenza Club Restaurant. Bellagio Buffet’s new layout provided more efficient space allocation.
  • The wellness complex (gym and spa) was extensively upgraded, adding a relaxation room, sauna, and thalassotherapy area.
  • Gelateria Amarillo (a premium ice-cream shop) was added, offering Italian gelato with Agrimontana flavorings.
  • A digital signage system was installed, featuring high-resolution monitors and interactive touch screens.
