Costa Serena deck plans

Costa Serena (built in 2007, last refurbished in April 2023, with the next refurbishment scheduled for November 2025) is the second of five Concordia-class Costa Cruises ships. Her sisterships include Costa Concordia (sunk in 2012), Costa Pacifica, Costa Favolosa, Costa Fascinosa, and Carnival Splendor (operated by Carnival Cruise Line).

The Costa Serena deck plan includes a total of 1507 staterooms, accommodating 3014 passengers (maximum capacity 3617), and served by a crew of 1070. The ship has 13 passenger decks, all named after zodiac constellations. Onboard amenities include 5 restaurants, 13 lounges and bars, a 4D cinema, 4 swimming pools (2 with retractable glass roofs), 5 outdoor Jacuzzies, and 6 Samsara Spa Suites with private hot tubs. There are 18 elevators, and no self-service laundromats are available on board.

Throughout the ship, guests can admire a collection of 312 original artworks and 5990 prints displayed in various locations.

In addition to the ship's crew, Costa passengers are assisted by Pepper robots, a cutting-edge technology introduced fleetwide in 2016. These humanoid robots greet and guide guests during embarkation and assist throughout the cruise by providing information on dining, entertainment, enrichment programs (workshops and scheduled events), casino promotions, shopping offers, and shore excursions. Pepper robots are mobile, speak English, German, and Italian, and can interpret human emotions by analyzing voice tone and facial expressions.
