Costa Concordia (built in 2006, scrapped in 2015) was the first of five Concordia-class liners operated by Costa Cruises. Her sisterships/fleetmates included Costa Serena (2007), Costa Pacifica (2009), Costa Favolosa (2011), and Costa Fascinosa (2012), along with Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Splendor (2008).
The Costa Concordia cruise ship deck plan featured a total of 1501 staterooms for 3002 passengers (maximum capacity 3765 guests), served by 1100 crew members. The ship had 13 passenger decks (named after Europe's largest countries), 14 passenger elevators, 5 restaurants, 13 lounges and bars, a 4D cinema, 4 swimming pools (2 with retractable glass roofs), 5 jacuzzies (plus 6 Samsara Spa Suites with private hot tubs), and 18 elevators in total.
