Each of the Carnival Imagination cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Carnival Imagination staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Carnival Imagination (built in 1995, scrapped in 2020, last refurbished in 2018, and upgraded under the Fun Ship 2.0 program in 2016) was the fifth of Carnival Cruise Line's eight Fantasy-class ships. Her sisterships included Elation, Fantasy, Inspiration, and Paradise, along with the "balcony ships" Ecstasy, Fascination, and Sensation.
The Carnival Imagination deck plan featured a total of 1026 staterooms accommodating 2052 passengers (max capacity 2658), and a crew of 920. The vessel had 13 decks (10 accessible to passengers, 5 with staterooms), 12 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools, 6 outdoor Jacuzzis (large whirlpools), and 14 elevators.
Passenger cabin decks included a total of 54 Suites, 564 Oceanview cabins, and 408 Inside cabins, along with self-service laundromats. Launderettes were available at an extra charge: $3.25 per washer or dryer load, and $1.50 per detergent/softener box (dispensed from onboard vending machines). Launderettes were open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 12 midnight and located on all stateroom decks. Each laundry room was equipped with 2–3 washers, 2–3 dryers, and an ironing board with iron. Machines accepted coins only and could not be operated with Sail & Sign cards. While in port, washers were not operational (only dryers and irons could be used). Valet laundry service was also available through the cabin steward. Prices ranged from $2 to $7.50 per item (wash and press only, no dry cleaning).
