Carnival Sensation deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Scrapped Cruise Ships deckplan pdf (printable version).
Each of the Carnival Sensation cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Carnival Sensation staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.
Carnival Sensation (1993-built / 2022-scrapped, last refurbished in January 2020, Fun Ship 2.0 refurbishment in 2017) was the third of eight Fantasy-class Carnival Cruise Line ships—along with Ecstasy, Fascination, and the “no balcony ships” Elation, Fantasy, Imagination, Inspiration, and Paradise.
In April 2022, the 29-year-old Carnival Sensation was sold for scrap and beached at Aliaga, Turkey.
The Carnival Sensation cruise ship deck plan included a total of 1,028 staterooms for 2,056 passengers (maximum capacity 2,467), served by 920 crew members. The vessel had 13 decks (10 accessible to passengers, 5 with cabins), 12 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools, 6 outdoor Jacuzzis (large whirlpool hot tubs), and 14 elevators.
Passenger cabin decks included a total of 54 Suites, 98 Balconies, 564 Oceanviews, and 408 Inside cabins. Self-service laundromats (launderettes) for passenger use were available on all cabin decks. Laundry service came at an additional charge—$3.25 per washer or dryer load and $1.50 per box of detergent/water softener (available via vending machines). Launderettes operated daily between 6:30 a.m. and 12:00 midnight and featured 2–3 washers, 2–3 dryers, and one ironing board with an iron. Machines accepted coins only (Sail & Sign cards not accepted). While in port, washing machines were disabled (only dryers and irons could be used). Valet laundry service was handled by the cabin steward, with per-item wash-and-press prices ranging from $2 to $7.50 (no dry-cleaning available).
