Deck layouts, review of facilities, activities, amenities

Carnival Ecstasy deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2025-2026-2027 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Scrapped Cruise Ships deckplan pdf (printable version).

Each of the Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on Carnival Ecstasy staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

Carnival Ecstasy (built in 1991, last refurbished in 2019, received the Fun Ship 2.0 upgrades in 2017, and scrapped in 2022) was the second of eight Fantasy-class Carnival cruise ships, alongside Fascination, Sensation, and the "no balcony ships" Elation, Fantasy, Imagination, Inspiration, and Paradise.

The 31-year-old Carnival Ecstasy left the Carnival Cruise Line fleet in October 2022 and was subsequently scrapped at the Aliaga shipbreaking yard in Turkey.

The Carnival Ecstasy deck plan included 1026 staterooms for 2056 passengers (maximum capacity 2467), and a crew of 920. The ship featured 13 decks (10 accessible to passengers, 5 with cabins), 12 lounges and bars, 3 swimming pools, 6 outdoor Jacuzzis (large whirlpool hot tubs), and 14 elevators.

Passenger cabin decks housed 54 Suites, 98 Balcony cabins, 466 Oceanview cabins, and 408 Inside cabins. Self-service laundromats were available on all cabin decks. These launderettes (open 6:30 am to midnight) were coin-operated and charged $3.25 per washer or dryer load and $1.50 per box of detergent/water softener (available from vending machines). Each laundry room included 2–3 washers, 2–3 dryers, and 1 ironing board with iron. Washing machines were unavailable while the ship was in port; only dryers and irons remained operational. Valet laundry service was provided by the cabin steward, with wash-and-press prices ranging from $2 to $7.50 per item. No dry-cleaning service was offered.

Carnival Ecstasy Deck Plan Changes – 2019 Refurbishment

During the ship's 10-day drydock in 2019 (October 7–17, in Freeport, Bahamas), the following upgrades were made: a new Video Arcade (open 24 hours, featuring arcade machines, motorbike simulators, and foosball), the Dreams Studio (photo session studio), and Bonsai Sushi Express (complimentary sushi bar, open 5–8 pm). The Fun Shops were upgraded, carpeting was replaced throughout the ship, and most public areas received cosmetic updates.
