Emerald Astra deck plans

Emerald Astra (2026-built) is the tenth vessel in the Emerald Waterways Star-class series. Her sisterships include Emerald Star, Emerald Sky, Emerald Sun, Emerald Dawn, Emerald Destiny, and Emerald Luna.

Emerald Waterways, established in 2014, is owned by the Australian river cruise and tour company Scenic Tours. Similar to the innovative Viking River Cruises Longships, Emerald Waterways vessels offer modern design features that make them a strong alternative to traditional ocean cruising. Emerald Astra expands the fleet’s selection of itineraries and sailing dates, appealing to travelers seeking the all-inclusive European luxury river cruising experience.

The deck plan of Emerald Astra shows 91 staterooms accommodating 180 passengers, served by 52 crew. Like most new European river cruise ships, she has 4 passenger decks and offers facilities such as an indoor swimming pool that transforms into a night cinema (with sliding glass roof), Bar Lounge, main Dining Restaurant, Gym, Spa (massage room), Beauty Salon, passenger-use bicycles, and 1 elevator (serving all 3 cabin decks).

As an all-inclusive riverboat, Emerald Astra’s cruise fares cover the following amenities:

• gratuities (on board and on shore excursions/tours)

• all transfers to and from the ship
• all shore excursions
• beverages (tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water) and alcohol (beer and wine by the glass at lunch and dinner)

There is no enforced dress code on board. However, a smart-casual style is recommended for dinner (jeans are acceptable, but shorts and flip-flops are not). Emerald Waterways cruises do not feature formal nights.
