Emerald Star deck plans

Emerald Star (2014-built) is the first of six identically designed Emerald Waterways ships of the Star-class. She was followed by her sisterships Emerald Sky, Emerald Dawn, Emerald Sun, Emerald Destiny, Emerald Luna, and Emerald Astra.

Emerald Waterways (established in 2014) is owned by the Australian river cruise and tour company Scenic Tours. Similar to the innovative Viking River Cruises Longships, Emerald Waterways’ ships offer a modern alternative to traditional ocean cruising. The Star-class boats provide travelers with more sailing dates and itinerary choices, catering to those seeking an all-inclusive European luxury river cruise experience.

The Emerald Star deck plan shows a total of 91 staterooms accommodating 180 passengers, served by 52 crew members. Like most new European river cruise ships, Emerald Star has 4 passenger decks and features an indoor swimming pool that converts into a night cinema (with sliding glass roof), Bar Lounge, Dining Room Restaurant, Gym, Spa (massage room), Beauty Salon, passenger-use bicycles, and 1 elevator connecting all 3 cabin decks.

Emerald Waterways offers an all-inclusive experience, with the following amenities included in the cruise fare:

• gratuities (both onboard and during shore excursions/tours)
• port taxes
• all transfers to and from the ship
• all shore excursions
• beverages (tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water) and alcoholic drinks (beer and wine by the glass at lunch and dinner)

There is no formal dress code onboard Emerald Star. However, a smart-casual style is recommended for dinner (jeans are acceptable, but shorts and flip-flops are not). There are no formal nights on Emerald Waterways cruises.
