Emerald Sky deck plans

Emerald Sky (built in 2014) is the second of six Emerald Waterways Star-class ships. Her sisterships are Emerald Star, Emerald Dawn, Emerald Sun, Emerald Destiny, Emerald Luna, and Emerald Astra.

Emerald Waterways, established in 2014, is owned by the Australian river cruise and tour operator Scenic Tours. Similar to the modern Viking River Cruises Longships, Emerald Waterways vessels offer innovations that position them as a strong alternative to traditional ocean cruise vacations. Emerald Sky adds more choice of sailing dates and itineraries for travelers seeking luxury, all-inclusive European river cruising.

The Emerald Sky deck plan includes 91 staterooms accommodating 180 passengers, with service provided by 52 crew members. Like most modern European river cruise ships, she features four passenger decks, an indoor swimming pool that transforms into a night cinema (with a sliding glass roof), Bar Lounge, Dining Room Restaurant, Gym, Spa (massage room), Beauty Salon, passenger-use bicycles, and one elevator (connecting all three cabin decks).

As an all-inclusive riverboat, Emerald Sky cruise fares include the following amenities:

• gratuities (both onboard and during shore excursions/tours)
• port taxes
• transfers to and from the vessel
• all shore excursions
• beverages (tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water) and alcoholic drinks (beer and wine by the glass at lunch and dinner)
• Wi-Fi Internet access

There is no formal dress code onboard Emerald Sky. A smart-casual style is recommended for dinner (jeans are acceptable, but shorts and flip-flops are not). Emerald Waterways cruises do not feature formal nights.
