Emerald Sun deck plans

Emerald Sun (2015-built) is the third vessel in the Emerald Waterways fleet of Star-class riverboats. Her sisterships are Emerald Star, Emerald Sky, Emerald Dawn, Emerald Destiny, Emerald Luna, and Emerald Astra.

Emerald Waterways, established in 2014, is owned by the Australian river cruise and tour company Scenic Tours. Similar to the innovative Viking Cruises longships, Emerald Waterways vessels offer modern design and amenities, providing a competitive alternative to ocean cruising. Emerald Sun expands the line’s choice of itineraries and sailing dates for travelers seeking a premium, all-inclusive European river cruise experience.

The Emerald Sun deck plan features 91 staterooms accommodating 180 passengers, served by 52 crew. Like most modern European river cruise ships, she has four passenger decks and amenities including an indoor swimming pool that converts into a night cinema (with a sliding glass roof), Bar Lounge, Dining Room Restaurant, Gym, Spa (massage room), Beauty Salon, passenger-use bicycles, and one elevator (serving all three cabin decks).

Emerald Sun operates on an all-inclusive basis, with cruise fares covering the following:

• gratuities (onboard and during shore excursions/tours)
• port taxes
• all transfers to and from the ship
• all shore excursions
• beverages (tea, coffee, soft drinks, bottled water) and alcoholic drinks (beer and wine by the glass at lunch and dinner)
• Wi-Fi Internet access

There is no formal dress code onboard. A smart-casual style is recommended for dinner (jeans are acceptable, but shorts and flip-flops are not). Emerald Waterways cruises do not feature formal nights.
