A separate link provides an extensive information on Goddess of the Night staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

MS Goddess of the Night (2004-built as "Costa Magica", fka "Mykonos Magic", last refurbished by Costa in 2017 December, last drydock refurbishment in 2024) is the fifth/last DESTINY-class vessel, with sisterships in the Costa Cruises fleet (Costa Fortuna) and the CCL-Carnival Cruise Line fleet (Destiny-SunshineTriumph-Sunrise, Victory-Radiance).

In February 2023, CCL announced that Costa Magica had been sold to Seajets Ferries and renamed "Mykonos Magic".

Goddess of the Night/Costa Magica cruise ship deck plan shows a total of 1354 staterooms for 2720 passengers (max capacity 3250) served by 1070 crew-staff. The boat has 13 passenger-accessible decks (all named after famous Italian painters, 8 are with cabins), 4 restaurants, 11 lounges and bars, 4 swimming pools (one with retractable glass roof), 6 Jacuzzis (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), 12 elevators. Magica has no self-service laundromats on board.

Costa Magica had 5500+ artworks on display at various places throughout the ship.

Costa Magica drydock 2017 refurbishment review

The ship's 2017 drydock refurbishment (November 25 - December 1) was done at Chantier Naval de Marseille shipyard (Marseille France). Along with the general maintenance works, the ship also received significant upgrades of its public areas and interior.

  • Vicenza Club Restaurant and Bellagio Buffet Restaurant were renovated with new layouts and updated galley/kitchen areas. The updates now allow Suite passengers and Costa Club Diamond Pearl (loyalty program) members to enjoy the Vicenza Club Restaurant. The Buffet Bellagio's layout was improved with more efficient space allocation.
  • The ship's wellness complex (gym and spa) was extensively renovated. A new relaxation room, sauna room, and thalassotherapy area were added.
  • Gelateria Amarillo (premium ice-cream shop) was added. The new ice-cream bar offers Italian gelato with Agrimontana flavorings.
  • During the refit was also installed a digital signage system consisting of high-res monitors and interactive touch screens.
