MS Fram deck 8 plan (Observation-Sundeck)

The aft-located Observation Deck  (Sun Deck upper level 2 of 2) offers the best vantage points on the ship for passengers to enjoy the scenery along Hurtigruten Fram ship cruise itinerary routes. On Sundeck are also located 2 Sauna Rooms (unisex, separate for men and women) each with a locker room and showers.

The top deck also has a large seating area with plenty of tables and deckchairs. The ship has a Helipad (helicopter landing area) used mainly for medical evacuations or other emergencies.

The sundeck is also where Hurtigruten holds the special ceremony “Arctic Circle baptism” that includes a Neptune-costumed crew, icy seawater, and a vodka shot for warming up.

Sun Deck is accessible only via stairs (outside).
