MV Sea Spirit deck plan review at CruiseMapper provides newest cruise deck plans (2026-2027-2028 valid floor layouts of the vessel) extracted from the officially issued by Poseidon Expeditions (Small Cruise Lines) deckplan pdf (printable version).

Each of the MV Sea Spirit cruise ship deck plans are conveniently combined with a legend (showing cabin codes) and detailed review of all the deck's venues and passenger-accessible indoor and outdoor areas. A separate link provides an extensive information on MV Sea Spirit staterooms (cabins and suites), including photos, cabin plans and amenities by room type and category.

MV Sea Spirit (1991-built as “Renaissance V”, last refurbished in 2019) was ordered by and initially operated for Renaissance Cruises. The company, founded in 1989, ceased operations in September 2001 following bankruptcy. Over the years, the vessel sailed for several operators under different names, including Sun Viva (Sun Cruise), MegaStar Sagittarius (Star Cruises), Spirit of Oceanus (Cruise West), and, since 2010, Sea Spirit (Quark Expeditions).

Sea Spirit drydock refurbishments review

The vessel’s 2017 drydock (a USD 2.5-million project completed in Vigo, Spain) included a full renovation of all 54 staterooms. During its previous 2015 drydock, all public areas were redesigned and refurbished.

The April–May 2019 drydock at Naval Rocha Shipyard (Lisbon, Portugal) delivered a complete interior upgrade along with major technical enhancements, including the installation of two retractable fin stabilizers. These Rolls Royce Zero Speed Stabilizers provide high roll-damping performance both underway and while drifting or at anchor. They are engineered to minimize vibrations and noise, are compatible with environmentally acceptable lubricants and feature four main seals for increased redundancy. The system is computer-controlled, with a programmable logic controller that adjusts stabilizer patterns based on prevailing weather and sea conditions. The drydock project also enabled the ship to be re-certified under the updated IMO Polar Code requirements, permitting continued passenger operations in polar waters.
