Ritz-Carlton's new LNG-powered superyachts Ilma and Luminara will be equipped with state-of-the-art provision stores, galleys/kitchens, and refrigeration systems by ALMACO.

The work is due to take place at Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St Nazaire France. The vessels' deliveries are currently scheduled for 2024 and 2025. ALMACO will also provide the newbuilds with support/lifecycle services during operation.

Each of the new ships will have various culinary venues. The superior dining/service level of Ilma and Luminara calls for modern catering solutions with the latest and most innovative technology and the highest sustainability requirements.

ALMACO’s scope of work in the projects consists of a Visual Turnkey delivery of all onboard galleys, as well as all equipment supply & installation of the galley areas consisting of 1200 m2 (12917 ft2). The company will also supply/install all equipment for the provision store areas of 525 m2 (5652 ft2) and deliver the refrigeration machinery system. Besides delivering the systems, equipment, and catering areas, ALMACO also included a lifecycle service agreement with Ritz-Carlton, consisting of pre-planned maintenance & supply of a spare parts package.
