Scenic Cruises confirmed that their new Discovery Yacht/ultra-luxury superyacht Scenic Eclipse 2 is scheduled for inauguration in April 2023 with shipbuilding advancing as planned.
The maiden voyage will be the 11-day "Incredible Iberian Discovery", which sails from Lisbon (Portugal) to Barcelona (Spain). Earlybird offers are offered on many sailings with savings of up to 20%.
As the building of Scenic Eclipse 2 reaches its final stages, Scenic Cruises provided a glimpse into the enhancements to the new yacht. The vessel set the benchmark in wellness with the expansive 550 m2 / 5920 ft2. Senses SPA is complete with dedicated male & female wellness areas appointed with a manicure/pedicure studio, saunas, steam rooms, temperature-controlled plunge pools, and relaxation lounges. The outdoor terrace delights passengers with relaxation lounges and a vitality spa. Scenic Eclipse 2 boasts the only dedicated Yoga & Pilates studio for a vessel of its size and continues this commitment, with the expansion of the steam room area in order to include aromatherapy, an integrated ice fountain/experience showers, and the introduction of a KLAFS custom salt therapy lounge.
Due to the success of the KLAFS Infrared chairs on Scenic Eclipse, an expanded dedicated infrared ‘ocean view’ lounge with color light therapy to energize/reinvigorate skin cells has been introduced into the wellness area onboard Scenic Eclipse 2.
On Deck 10, a brand new bar area with indoor & outdoor seating is a highlight for guests to enjoy the views with a drink, as they sail through the Arctic, Antarctica, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean. An oval-shaped pool with relaxation space is also a new feature.
