P&O UK's newest cruise ship Arvia scheduled for Ems RIver conveyance from Meyer Werft Papenburg

Meyer Werft is expecting the second LNG-powered ship it built for Carnival Corporation’s P&O UKMS Arvia, to leave Papenburg (Germany) on Saturday, November 5th.

Following the Ems River conveyance, supported by two tugboats, the large vessel should arrive in Eemshaven Holland (North Sea) on November 6th.

Following technical/nautical sea trials, Arvia will set a course for Bremerhaven (Germany) for delivery to P&O UK.

Meyer Werft launched Airvia's sistership Iona, in August 2021.

P&O expects the new cruiser to set off on her inaugural sailing from Southampton (England UK) next month.

The maiden voyage will be on a route to the Canaries followed by a winter season in the Caribbean.

P&O Iona has volume 184089 GT-tons, LOA 345 m / 1132 ft, beam/width 42 m / 138 ft, 18 decks and 2614 staterooms.
