CCL-Carnival Cruise Line announced that renowned chef and restauranteur Emeril Lagasse will serve as the company's Chief Culinary Officer.

Emeril's Bistro, a restaurant concept created by Lagasse, is already popular on two of the fleet's most innovative boats - Celebration and Mardi Gras.

Now the culinary talents of the famous chef will be utilized fleetwide.

In conjunction with the announcement, CCL also announced that the new Carnival Jubilee ship will also boast an Emeril's Bistro when she arrives in Galveston Texas in December 2023.

Jubilee is CCL fleet's newest and largest liner (3rd unit of the XL-Class) scheduled for inauguration in 2023. All three units in this series (Mardi Gras, Celebration, Jubilee) are from the German shipbuilder Meyer Werft and constructed in Papenburg. As with all other "Fun Ships", the shipowner is Carnival Corporation - the world's largest passenger shipping company.
