The redesigned spa concept, named Aurora, draws inspiration from the Goddess of Dawn and aims to provide guests with personal peace and overall well-being during their ultra-luxury voyage. Crystal's Aurora Spa will feature a stunning design, sunrise-inspired signature treatments, and expert therapists to create an oasis for rejuvenating the body, mind, and soul.
Aurora is the result of a collaboration between the 2023-relaunched Crystal Cruises and TDoS (Tillberg Design of Sweden) and is poised to become the most serene wellness complex at sea. The design takes inspiration from the moment when the sun rises, incorporating light-bright neutral colors, an illuminated fiber optic starlight ceiling, and organic materials like Selenite and silk brushed slate stone. These elements come together to create an ambiance that allows guests to rediscover their natural shine and radiance.
Sweden Spa will offer the latest technology and treatments through exclusive partnerships with renowned skincare brand ELEMIS and beauty experts Kerastase. New treatments will cater to the evolving wellness preferences of discerning travelers. The facial treatments are designed for renewal, and estheticians will utilize ELEMIS' advanced BIOTEC technology to offer customized high-performance facials.
Highlighted treatments at Aurora include the Aurora LED and Cryo Facial Experience, which provides instant skin plumping and toning, and the Biotec 2.0 The Ultimate Facial, which delivers a more youthful appearance after a single treatment. Signature massage treatments include the Aurora Stone Signature Massage with hot stones for relaxation and The Chariot of Light featuring LED light therapy for refreshed skin.
Crystal Serenity will house 12 treatment rooms, while Crystal Symphony will have 10 treatment rooms. Both ships will include male and female steam rooms, saunas, and a relaxation room. The Salon will provide personalized hair care recommendations and offer nail and makeup treatments for both men and women. Aurora's holistic wellness approach extends to fitness offerings that nourish the body and mind.
OneSpaWorld, a leading innovator of wellness at sea, will return as the operator of Aurora, ensuring the highest quality standards and service delivery that Crystal is known for. As part of the extensive refurbishments currently underway in Trieste Italy, both ships (Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony) will unveil larger, updated suites with artisanal finishes, refreshed specialty dining venues, cutting-edge onboard wellness facilities, a new pickleball court, and re-energized entertainment and events.
