Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has unveiled plans for its 2024 President's Cruise, featuring Ellen Bettridge, the President and CEO, as the host on the SS Victoria, the fleet's newest boat.

This exclusive 8-day Rhine River voyage (Castles Along the Rhine" itinerary) promises unique experiences, direct interactions with Bettridge, and specially curated surprises for guests.

The selected vessel for this exceptional adventure is the S.S. Victoria, a former Crystal Cruises river ship chartered by Uniworld from Riverside Luxury Cruises. With a capacity for 110 passengers, the S.S. Victoria boasts luxurious cabins with floor-to-ceiling windows, king-size beds, and various suite options, including those with walk-in closets and fireplaces. Some suites even offer adjoining rooms, providing spacious 2-bedroom accommodations of ~759 square feet (70.5 m2).

Key highlights of the ship include a massage room, a fully-equipped gym, a casual bistro, a rooftop bar and grill, and a fine-dining room featuring farm-to-table cuisine. The itinerary takes guests to captivating destinations like the French Alsace region, offering a blend of French and German influences in picturesque cities such as Strasbourg. Other stops include Cologne and Rudesheim.

Optional pre-cruise and post-cruise extensions are available for those seeking an enhanced experience. Guests can opt for a two-night stay at the Mandarin Oriental Palace in Lake Lucerne, Switzerland, before embarking on the cruise. Alternatively, a 3-day extension in Amsterdam is offered, with accommodation at the Hilton Hotel Amsterdam or a similar option.

Making her debut in Amsterdam in March, the S.S. Victoria will navigate Dutch and Belgian waterways, along with the Rhine and Moselle rivers, for the next three years. Uniworld has expanded its fleet by chartering a second ship from Riverside, the former Crystal Mahler, which will be named SS Elisabeth and commence cruising in 2025.
