Silversea's summer sojourn: French Polynesia takes center stage in the 2026 cruise season

The ultra-premium travel brand Silversea is set to anchor its entire 2026 summer season in French Polynesia, attributing this decision to the burgeoning demand for voyages in the South Pacific Ocean.

Navigating these azure waters will be the elegant 392-passenger Silver Whisper, charting a course through French Polynesia on 7- and 14-day sailings, where extended stays in captivating destinations are the hallmark.

Commencing from Papeete Tahiti, between April and September, the Silver Whisper is slated for 17 voyages, with Silversea initiating a pre-sale for these sought-after itineraries. The 7-day cruises will explore the Society Islands, making stops in Moorea, Raiatea (with an overnight call), Huahine, and Bora Bora (overnight). Silversea emphasizes a leisurely pace with three late departures, optimizing guests' time in Papeete, Moorea, and Huahine.

For the 14-day voyage, the Silver Whisper ventures into the Society, Tuamotus, and Marquesas Islands. Guests will traverse Moorea, Raiatea (overnight), Fakarava, Nuku Hiva, Fatu Hiva, Atuona, Tahuata, Rangiroa, and Bora Bora before concluding the journey in Papeete. Both itineraries feature the added luxury of relaxation on a private island.

Expanding the regional offering, a 21-day Easter Island sailing, setting sail from Valparaiso-Santiago de Chile, on March 16, and two combination voyages further enrich the Silversea experience.
