Azamara Onward embarks on inaugural 155-night World Cruise

The ultra-premium travel brand Azamara has embarked on a maritime odyssey with the commencement of Azamara Onward ship’s first World Voyage, a remarkable 155-night sea adventure.

On the eve of Thursday, January 4, the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale FL USA, played host to the exclusive World Cruise Welcome Party, where seafaring enthusiasts from across the globe gathered to herald the commencement of this epic journey before the grand departure today.

Guiding the festivities was Cruise Director Eric De Gray, extending a warm welcome to both seasoned Azamara loyalists and newcomers. Chief Financial Officer Alain Ferzli, representing the entire Azamara crew, expressed exhilaration and gratitude towards the World Cruisers in attendance.

Over the next five months, Azamara Onward shall navigate the waters, visiting 40+ countries across 6 continents. Extended Destination Days, including 22 overnight stays and 27 late nights in port, will afford travelers ample time to delve into the cultural tapestry and historical depths of each destination.

The 2024 World Cruise promises 11 AzAmazing Celebrations and three exclusive World Cruise events, ensuring an immersive and unparalleled experience for all aboard.
