Casino enthusiasts setting their sights on the open ocean can now reap loyalty rewards that extend well beyond the confines of their cruise vessels.

RCI-Royal Caribbean and CCL-Carnival Cruise Line have recently forged alliances with prominent land-based casino operators, amplifying the reach of their casino benefits. Royal Caribbean has teamed up with Hard Rock International, while Carnival has joined forces with Bally’s Corporation. These strategic partnerships enable gamblers to accumulate loyalty points that are redeemable both at sea and on land.

CCL, celebrated for its extensive reach across the United States, emphasized the expanded opportunities their collaboration with Bally’s brings. As America's Cruise Line, Carnival operates from 14 U.S. homeports - more than any other cruise line - while Bally’s boasts 15 acclaimed properties nationwide, the company stated.

The agreement with RCI similarly allows players to amass points in both land-based and onboard casinos. Both partnerships provide players with an array of benefits, including cruise discounts and other enticing promotions.

Additionally, these deals enable players to enjoy discounts at land-based casinos, representing a novel approach within the cruise industry. This innovative model not only offers greater rewards for players but also presents an opportunity for cruise lines and casinos to broaden their brand presence.

These alliances between gaming operators and cruise lines are poised to attract more customers, whether they are setting sail or staying ashore at a casino resort.
